before the decision.

Specification & unit

Do not compare ferronickel, refined nickel and nickel sulphate as interchangeable tonnes. Specify contained nickel, chemical form and customer qualification.

Recycling question

Is the stream stainless-steel scrap, alloy scrap or batteries; and will nickel return directly to an alloy or pass through chemical refining?

Classification context

Nickel is listed in Australia and the US. The EU legal lists specify battery-grade nickel; that qualifier should be retained.
